Debut Club: Sold Out
The tickets for the Debut Club show, on Thursday 24th, sold out within minutes of going on sale. We're very excited about this gig and for everyone who got a ticket!
We know many of you are upset that you couldn't get a ticket due to the website becoming very slow. We know that when tickets are so limited there will be fans who are left disappointed and are sorry if you tried but got the "Sold Out" message.

Basically, after reading a fair few pages of the comments i felt quite upset of the general feeling towards Jamiroquai. I have the impression that yes, maybe they made some mistakes with this, but many people have been quite rude in responding. It's the way people made their responses. Okay, not all (shoot me already!) but many were very negative... Either way, i'd like to know a little more about why people have been like this. Where was this suggestive 'impression'? I see you are using quotations to suggest that they have made literal word of a 'new album/single'. I can't seem to find anything that suggests anything to do with releasing info on singles or the album. I mean, i may be wrong, and if that is the case then feel free to quote this/link me etc and prove me wrong. The way i see it is that this IS big news! You can't be that into them if you didn't think them performing in the UK again is great!! An intimate venue is far more superior to a live concert.. They're more like watching ants! I too wished to attend the gig, i have been a fan of Jamiroquai for about 12 years now, infact probably alot more, and this was my first ever opportunity to see them play live (i had been too young before and penniless). Of course i was beyond excited to hear the chances of them playing, and i jumped at the chance of seeing them at Hard Rock (which i am attending just for Jamiroquai mainly.) I could not believe that they are even planning on entertaining us anymore! They have been doing this for so long now, (yes they had a break, but bloody good on them! They needed it!) and i am very surprised and very thankful that they have taken the decision to continue. We are lucky. Despite any problems and frustrations, we should count our blessings either way. Do you see me throwing a tantrum for not getting what i wanted? No. I have other priorities in life too, and i know that the people who did get tickets will be very happy indeed. It'll all happen in due time. If you've waited 5 years already i'm sure another few months can't be too killer - bottom line is - BE PATIENT :)!

Perhaps theres a lesson in all of this? Like Jamirofan 2000, Im not mad at the band, just complete incompetence at the way the Debut Gig tickets have been handled. When does 11.50am translate to 12 noon!!!!! How about this idea? Presumably a new album will be out soon. Why not have a page on the site where people can vote which global cities they wish the band to play at? Unusual or spectacular venues welcome. The most votes per city gives them an indication of possible venues, cut down on travelling and touring costs. Interspersed with the advertised gigs, could be a few informal ones at a small club, ADVERTISED IN ADVANCE BY BALLOT. A donation to enter the ballot given to the Captive Animals or other charity of the bands choice? Just thought of an interesting title for an album - "Bread and Circuses".. after a quote from the Roman empire Take care everyone!
